Sky Broadband: Cry Wolf

Okay so I'm a bit behind the times on this but it annoyed me so much at the time that I can't let it go. Once I get it out of my system I can move forward and on to more recent campaigns that stick in my mind.

I know this will have passed most people by as not a problem, but for me, it was a frustration every single time the advert was endlessly on. See...

...there we have the village smart mouth suggesting ridiculous lies the boy might tell, such as robots. That's fine, I'm happy for you to suggest robots, it would indeed be silly to claim an attack of robots. However, don't then say "whatever they are" to suggest you're in a time before robots, when you somehow know exactly what Sky Broadband is. I mean come on!*

The more life experienced chap here clearly shows his disgust at such a gaff being included in the advert through the expression on his face.

I'm with you old man!

*I should note that I do not hold the village gob responsible, I'm sure he was just doing his job, and he didn't annoy me at all in that "are they putting real wine in these" advert.
